چکیده

Abstract In this paper we prove Vogan’s conjecture on local Arthur packets, as recalled in Cunningham et al. [Arthur packets for p-adic groups by way of microlocal vanishing cycles perverse sheaves, with examples, Memoirs the American Mathematical Society, Boston, 2022, Section 8.3, Conjecture 1(a)], irreducible parameters p -adic general linear groups. This result shows that these may be characterized properties simple sheaves a moduli space Langlands parameters.

JACQUET MODULES OF p-ADIC GENERAL LINEAR GROUPS

In this paper, we study Jacquet modules for p-adic general linear groups. More precisely, we have results—formulas and algorithms—aimed at addressing the following question: Given the Langlands data for an irreducible representation, can we determine its (semisimplified) Jacquet module? We use our results to answer this question in a number of cases, as well as to recover some familiar results ...

On Characters of Irreducible Unitary Representations of General Linear Groups

Founding harmonic analysis on classical simple complex groups, I.M. Gelfand and M.A. Naimark in their classical book [GN] posed three basic questions: unitary duals, characters of irreducible unitary representations and Plancherel measures. In the case of reductive p-adic groups, the only series of reductive groups where unitary duals are known are general linear groups. In this paper we reduce...

Twisted signs for p-adic linear groups

Let G be a reductive p-adic group and let θ be an automorphism of G of order at most two. Let π be an irreducible smooth representation of G that is taken to its dual by θ. The space V of π then carries a non-zero bilinear form ( , ) ( unique up to scaling) with the invariance property (π(g)v, π(g)w) = (v, w), for g ∈ G and v, w ∈ V . The form is easily seen to be symmetric or skew-symmetric an...
